Today I updated my plotter and my farmer to 1.1.6.
As I did some more changes, it took a while but it all went well.
Now I took a view at my harvestgraph and it showed a drastic improvement:

I noticed the same in my chiaharvestgraph - no red blocks at all since the upgrade, and CPU load is much lower.

Ah, so farming got more efficient in 1.1.6? That’s good news. Anything in the release notes?

Was your full node running on that machine as well? Maybe by making the full node faster, it no longer hampers the harvesting because it doesn’t gobble up a full core anymore?
I just realized… it’s probably the improvement of the peer 2 peer communication. Better connectivity, means less likely to lag in block height.

Yesterday I installed Samba on my raspi-farmer and started a Job onto one of its USB-drives.
Looks like that blocked the system completely for at least an hour.
