my chia node tried to connect to this address
and my anti virus listed it as a botnet: blacklist
the request was made by the deamon, is this a concern?
no concern.
anti-virus apps keep a blacklist of IP addresses that have been tied to botnets.
problem is that any infected PC can be part of a botnet and the IP blacklisted.
IPs can switch from one user to another as well, the new user may have gotten a blacklisted IP.
Unless there is a weakness in the Chia code, someone connecting to it over port 8444 can’t do anything bad.
