I mined Chia a bit of time, and see dome discussions on chia fork, but unsure
1: Is it Ok to mine the plots created by Chia by other chia forks?
2: Will it interfere the current Chia mining?
3: Any safety concerning as it can access to your HDDs and the credential keys in Chia?
Thanks a lot for your comments/suggestions.
- Sure!
- Shouldn’t, but pay attention to logs as always!
- Yep, always good to be careful. I run Hyper-V with 11 other forks on an old Dell PowerEdge r520 with 128gb of RAM and I still have plenty of processor and memory available for more. Each fork runs it its own VM and they all read the same plots from a read-only share on the Host.
Thanks. Very helpful information.

Curios to know why you would bother. As all forks I have use the chia plot for mining.
I never tried any forks yet, would like to get concerning cleared before I try them.
Does those fork work well for pool/nft plots? Thanks
Yeah. They all mine same plots. Each fork has its own set of exe. No overlaps. Run command line. Gui uses more memory.
