Let’s say you have it installed on ssd or even worse regular sata hdd. You still use nvme for plotting but your full node is installed on slow device.
Has anybody won a block with such setup?
People win blocks with 10+ HDDs connected to raspberry pi 4’s.
So long as the chia client is not maxing out your ram, processor or internet connection then there is no issue with running a full node, syncing, passing filters and winning blocks on even fairly slow machines. Plotting however, especially whilst also running the full node, really might be a step too far.
