I can understand that, and its hard to argue against it, but when security is in question that should be enough in our opinion.
You can plot with raid 0 HDDs with a reasonable performance, and do them slowly. People don’t need to delete all OG at once and start fresh.

For sure I do exactly this…
But this means about 80 (cpu + hdds) watt more energy consumption…
3/4 h/plot * 80 w/h = 60 wh/plot
1500 plots * 60 wh/plot = 90000 w/h = 90 kw/h
If your math is correct 90kw/h doesn’t seem that much. What does that convert to in dollars where you live?
