Is Chia Business Whitepaper a legally binding document?

In many discussions that whitepaper is used the ultimate source or truth but is it really legally binding? I mean if it’s not, they can simply edit out whatever part they want in a future revision without prior notice, right?

I’m sure they mean everything they put in that document but still would be good to know how much weight that document carries.

No, its not legally binding. Definition from Wikipedia:

A white paper (sometimes referred to as a white book ) is a report or guide that informs readers concisely about a complex issue and presents the issuing body’s philosophy on the matter. It is meant to help readers understand an issue, solve a problem, or make a decision.

Its to help people understand what Chia (the company) is planning to do with their business. Like all things in life, you can stand by your word or not. If not, then you lose trust. Trust lost is hard to get back.
