I would like to run Chia pool. However, I am not sure what hosting provider I will be able to use.
Is running a pool is similar to crypto mining? I ask because crypto mining violates hosting providers terms of use.
Is running a pool break the terms of hosting providers like Digital Ocean, Microsoft Azure or AWS?

I think you have some of your ideas wrong. A pool is a service for many miners to share the results of their mining.
Running a pool is probably not what you should be doing.
I think you can run it on any server, except for a few countries that are not allowed to participate in cryptocurrency

This means that maintaining a pool will not be treated as Crypto Mining. Most hosting providers allow it, which means that my account will not be suspended.
Considering this question, I strongly recommend you learn a bit more about crypo, mining and what it means to run a pool before doing it… Or you keep it in a test environment… You will be the victim of countless attacks and probably DO will at some time kick you out if you don’t get hacked before…
