Is Use Same Machine For Multipurpose Is Good Idea ?

Since v1.1.6 it is fine. I ahve a ZCash miner running on my Chia (all services) machine as well, while I use it for Web and Discord stuff.

It is good to have multiple core CPU like xeon with 22 cores 44 threads but limited only 2.3GHz or CPU like i7 with 8 cores 16 threads and higher clock (4.9 GHz) ?

Chia is CPU bound, and for 90% single thread (even phase 1 is >50% single thread). The rest will depend on your temp drives.

So… It is good to use i7 with 8 cores 16 threads, at around 4.9GHz ? (Better single thread performance)…

for plotting you need a decent cpu, memory and temp storage, for farming people are using Raspberry Pi’s, to farm
