Comparing BTC to XCH is like comparing apples to oranges. Sure they’re both cryptos/fruits but the distinctions are very clear.
But you make some valid points.

I won’t Hpool or any other unofficial pool. I won’t Chia Green or any fork coin either. Why? I don’t trust it. I don’t even trust that Chia is designed to allow this. They are only leading to issues, like Chia Green “hijacking 8444” and connecting to Chia hosts instead of their own hosts. Unofficial pools and forks lead to Chia having to be on the defensive and make sure that a fork’s program isn’t stealing XCH (whether on purpose or accident is besides the point here). I’ll take my chances with my 18TB and if and when I win something, I may reinvest it into server, but only from winning legitimate wins straight from Chia themselves.
