Madmax crashes with a /bitfield_index.hpp:45 error

After a few successful plots I consistently get this crash:

chia_plot: /chia-plotter/include/chia/bitfield_index.hpp:45: std::pair<long unsigned int, long unsigned int> bitfield_index::lookup(uint64_t, uint64_t) const: Assertion `bitfield_.get(pos) && bitfield_.get(pos + offset)’ failed.

CPU: 3900X
RAM: 128 GB DDR4 3200 MHz
Temp1: Kingston CS3030 NVME M.2 SSD
Temp2: 110 GB ramdisk
OS: Ubuntu 21.04
Command: ./build/chia_plot -n 44 -t /mnt/m.2_ssd/ -2 /mnt/ram/ -d /mnt/ext_sata_drive/ -r 8 -c key -f key

Any ideas on the reason for this?

Having same problem. I read on github the Dev responded and basically said its due to unstable RAM Did you ever find a fix? besides changing ram

I think some successfully stopped plotting ram issues by increasing voltage, I’ve only had it once so just returned the ram, the other 3 pairs of ram I’ve used had no issues at all.

the only problem, its very picky and wont boot if I select voltage it doesn’t like. Some dropped down to 4 threads and didnt have issues after that but really if the power is there I want to be able to utilize it.
