MadMax Plotter in 36 minutes!

64GB 3200MHz DDR4
Corsair MP600 Hydro X Edition with Liquid Cooling

I use two temp NVMe SSD and one final dest HDD.
36 minutes one plot file. + copying duration to the HDD but the copying duration nt important because the plotting progress not stopping.

24 hours = 40 plot

I have also i7-10700k with Asus Z590 Wi-Fi, Gen3 NVMe SSD, 32GB 3600MHz DDR4
It makes plots in 45 minutes. 24 hours = 32 Plot

I realised that the used RAM is around 15GB. How to use more memory and lower the plotting duration ?

I read somewhere that as you go higher in “cores”, the RAM will go higher along with it.

12 Cores 24 Threads for my CPU. This is my command line.

.\chia_plot.exe -n 1 -t D:\ -2 E:\ -d F:\ -r 24 -p pkey -f fkey

I read somewhere that it will use more threads than you give it on the command line. But I am not sure if that is true or not, just read that on FB.

On my test, it takes “all” your threads whether you use half or whatever number you put in the settings. It takes every thread available.
