Missing Signage Points, in fact Ive never received a signage point

Hello, well I give up I can’t solve this on my own. I’m brand new to Chia and I built a brand PC just for it. I’m running windows 11 with AMD 7800x and 7700 card.
1tb Nvme ssd and 3 12 tbs hdds.

So here’s a photo.
Also I just bought a sata ssd that I will be moving the operating system from the nvme to the sdd. Is that my main issue. I don’t believe it is. I think it’s not setup correctly but I don’t know. I did turn on the log to info and all I can see is missing coin state.

NVME is better than an SSD, thats not the problem.

I’ve no idea what the issue, but I’m sure someone else will be along to ask you the right questions.

What type of plots are you farming? The GPU won’t be any use for compressed plots, not the best compressed ones anyway.

I also hope you didn’t build all this to make money

what do you see in your debug.log?
did you set it up to pick up INFO level lines?
what type of plots (compression) do you have?
if your plots are compressed, what is the GPU usage?

Chia works fine with the OS on a NVME - I have 2 machines I’ve done that on here, one a 5950x.

My apologies everyone. I was really frustrated when i posted this and it was too early. Anyways, I’m still having the same issue but not as bad. I added the 4tb Nvme sdd and i upgraded the memory from 32 to 96. I also tried changing internet providers as I have Verizon 5k Home as well as spectrum. Internet provider wasnt the issue. I am also making a ton more plots now with the 4tb sdd and I’ve been putting them all in a pool because I don’t seem to have any issues with pooling.

Some things you can check:

make sure your PC time is set correctly and syncing via NTP
Check your windows firewall (if it’s active, deactivate it to see if makes a difference)

From what I can tell from your log, it seems that your blockchain db is corrupt in some way. redownload a copy from here Downloads - Chia Network and resync the db.

Fridays question, are you making plain chia plots or gigahorse plots? Are you making plots and trying to farm at the same time on the same machine. With all the talk about the bugs with the AMD GPU’s, do you have access to another video card (NVIDA etc 6gb or better) to test???

just plain uncompressed mad max plots k32, nope I’m an amd fan. Have been since I started building pc’s as a way to save money 25 years ago. So my creature of habit bought all amd and I’m ok with my 34 min plot times right now. I just finished up my 200th plot. I’m still collecting from the pools, hence why I havent been to big of a hurry. I’m still learning this. I havent done any programming or dos application since High School. So i’m learning that now as well. In fact i havent been using my video card at all. Ive been debating on buying a used storage server or make one out of my old pc that has 8 hdd bays in it. Was going to install TrueNas but I might try fast farmer first.

I’m scared to say it but i think that fixed it. Thank you soo much, i would have never done that because its such a large download, but its been between and half hour and hour and they’re still 0. That’s never happened before, maybe 10 mins to show up but not this long. Thanks

So i believe I’m good to move to next step. Turn my old pc into a nas server with TrueNas or leave it. I do plan on adding 5 20 tb hdds to it either way, so I was thinking that the Nas server might be more efficient and at least help me prepare for the future when i start my server racks. my main experience comes from being a Low voltage tech and basiclly installing every camera MUV ( local medical marjuana company in Florida) and building their entire camera system for their 48 stores and their 2 plants. So i have rack building experience, some mild server from the hik vision central system we installed.
