Mounting APFS-formatted volume on Ubuntu

I’ve got a 16TB drives full of plots… but it is formatted in APFS because I plotted them on a Mac.

I’ve tried the commercial Paragon software as well as apfs-fuse and apfs, but haven’t been able to make any of those work.

Does anyone have any tips on how to mount APFS drives on an Ubuntu farmer?

Many thanks in advance

I suggest maybe copying them over to a drive that is formatted with a different file system? I know this is a bit of a brute force solution, but…

Yep, I think it may come to that… although I’ve now run out of 16tb hard drives and the copy times to these Seagates are so slow it might be easier just to move my farming to a Mac Mini with lots of USB hubs!

Well, everyone has run out of hard drives for the moment, so… this is a thing.
