Multiple pc's plotting farming

Hi, I’ve been trying to get a few drives set up. I have 2 pc’s plotting. I set up the same wallet on both pc’s and both are full nodes and are synched and say they are farming. The two nodes do not see each other.

So my question is are these both farming independently correctly? Both pc’s estimated time to win are a few months so i’m not really sure if things are working properly.

Sorry for the noob question and thanks for any help.

The real question is, do both machines have the same Public IP? If they do, you will have issues. Open this website on each machine and see what IP it gives. Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router

Hello, and thanks for the response.

both computers have the same public ip. What problems does this involve exactly? Should i unplug the ethernet from one of the computers?
