Just started to join plotting and farming. read some Performance report post, all got mentioned “Stagger xx mins” What does it means? Thanks in advance.
This is an easy one! Stagger means delay between starting parallel plots.
So you start 1 plot, and then 30 minutes later, start another plot. That’s a 30 minute stagger.
BTW, I recommend at least a 30 minute stagger between plots unless you really know what you’re doing, because copying plots to media is, at best, several minutes with extremely fast storage media and no contention… here are copy times for one k32 plot based on a variety of MB/sec speeds:
