I’m making c14 plots
My doubt is related to the strings, because I use -d for the hdd and now I want to add nvme’s, is the string different?
Gigahorse plots. is what you making?
No, it’s nossd plots
I have not played with nossd yet.
here is my gigahorse string
cuda_plot_k32 -n -1 -x 8444 -M 128 -C 19 -t F:\nvme\ -d D:\gigaplot\ -f ffff -c cccc
.
Also I have 256gb system in this plotter, if you upgraded to 128gb the -M might be (-M 64) etc
For another data point, 70 minutes was the exact time I was getting for C4 sparse plots too (3 HDDs, 16GB ram, no GPU). That’s without GPU, the times they list are assuming your GPU is set in that string before launching (for example, -g,8G 3070 or similar). RAM will definately help after that point but it’s all assuming GPU plotting for those numbers on the website.
Do
no gpu mining
no -a
-d nvme
see how fast it comes.
Should I type -d nvme or -d “letter of the nvme”?
-d “letter of the nvme”
What kind gpu you have?
do you use gpu plotting or CPU plotting?
Thanks. It is gpu plotting
Come on, this is the NoSSD thread, keep up
Perhaps a stupid question…
Is it better to have one miner mining 5000 plots or 2 miners mining 2500 plots each?
Hardware isn’t an issue and one miner can handle it without problems, just wondering if over time splitting miners out with fewer plots equals more rewards.
It won’t make any difference presuming there isn’t any issues, but running two systems will increase your power usage.
If your response times are low, then that is all that matters, with one possible upcoming change.
When the plot filter halving takes place, your harvester’s workload will effectively double.
That will not matter, if your hardware can handle that increased load. If not, then two miners (harvesters) will be needed.
NoSSD is closing to 8 EiB.
No one is close to this number.
You’re right, Gigahorse is well out in front with an estimated 11.25EiBe of netspace, NoSSD is not even close
GH isn’t a pool, so it can’t be the biggest pool
If we’re being pedantic, BlackEgo didn’t say anything about a pool
NoSSD is also not a proper Chia pool, it doesn’t use the official pool protocol, and is in essence a single farmer with multiple harvesters.
I have now reached 250,000+ NoSSD plots. My payouts are ~6.8 XCH per day. Chia Calculator (https://chiacalculator.com/) seems to think I should be making 9.6 XCH per day with this number of plots. Is that calculator outdated/broken?
EDIT: that website is indeed broken; it is not estimating correct total netspace. This calculator is more accurate: XCH.farm | Chia Farming Earning Calculator
What compression rating are they, C15?
Have you still got more space to plot?
