NoSSD is the best choice to move from SPACEPOOL?

Hi everyone,
Spacepool is going to close soon so I find the other one, on Chia (XCH) PoST | Mining Pools NoSSD is the first so I decide to move to

But the guide is so very simple so I don’t know if it works or not
I have 1 NVMe (D:) to plot and 3 8TB (E:/F:/G:) to store and my StartClient.bat like this (just plot, not mine now) and my plot file is only about 50GB

Pls help to check if there smt that I have to change or it’s OK?

your nvidia gpu is not working

or you dont have a nvidia gpu

Looking at the error message at the start, you have too outdated a NVidia driver.
525 or up all seem to work fine, not sure on older versions.

Possibility you don’t have enough RAM on the Nvidia card.
It would help if you posted SOME INFORMATION on what card you are using.

Hi QuintLeo,

  • Ms VGA card is NVIDIA GeForce GT420 and I have no intend to use it, just use CPU (my PC plotted and mined on Spacepool before)
  • My PC Core i7-9700/ 16GB RAM/Storage: D (1TB NVMe), E/F/G: 8TB HDD
  • NoSSD guide so simple or I’m newbie so I’m not sure that I did correct thing

So pls help me with below questions, tks so much

  • I intend to use D drive for template and 3 other for storage, so can you give me the suitable command line
    client.exe -d,ts D:\temp -d,f E:\

  • the size of plot is ~50GB is correct?

  • I always got this error message

you cant farm the 50GB plots without using a nvidia gpu with enough vram

use -c flag to select c5 for cpu or fix / install a nvidia gpu

like “-c 5”

.This has worked for me and it also made k32co MMX plots on a 256gb system!! Just had to use the -2 in the string…

The smaller NoSSD plots need a GPU to farm them.
The best you can do with just a CPU is the “version 1” plots, which only get down to 88 MB.
On the NoSSD page, check the “help” tab, then the “cpu” tab, that will get you to the right section and plotter version to run with a CPU plotter/farmer.
The Version 2 and 3 NoSSD software versions require a fairly recent GPU to farm at all (you can PLOT on the v2 as I recall, but can’t farm with a CPU), while your GT420 is ANCIENT and way too low of memory to use with anything current.
