Please, Chia, be available on a NYC-approved exchange

Frankly, (I know you are not Frank and Neither Am I), my initial post was purely selfish…I seek proper liquidity on a proper exchange so that eventually, I can turn my XCH into cash. I just happen to live in NYC, which as you know, has strict regulation.

I’m still not sure what the stigma is surrounding any supposed government-backed crypto. From my perspective, it appears to be a “straw man” for those who resent living under rule of law.

The SEC does not change its policy every week, if it did, my 18 years in finance would have been much more hellish.

The government is not anti-crypto, it’s crypto-cautious. Just because you are unaware of the dangers of dark cross-border transactions doesn’t mean they don’t wreak havoc on modern economies. Unbooked capital flight can take any nation down outright. You may have disdain for those gathered at Bretton Woods, but they had a clear vision with a strong point: uncontrolled capital movements cause wars.

A lesson lost, to be sure, on our current generations.(Putin, that little cock-sucker, is an outlier.)

You don’t sound Russian at all

Perhaps you trust random individuals who offer financial services, but I do not.

А ты русский, конечно. Синтаксис всегда выдает это. Не волнуйтесь, я люблю большинство русских, потому что я вырос на русской литературе.

Путин меня бесит, но я, конечно, прощаю российскую публику.

this is your decision.
i wrote this because I thought you needed money urgently when you opened the topic.
anyway good luck!

We are both humans floating randomly in a chaotic world.

Of course I wish you luck. We need as much luck as we can get.

Not the US, but the whole world. Unregulated capital flows have given us two world wars, please don’t tell me you want WWIII just because you want anonymous international porn.

Which contradicts him in 2023

Stuff where they advise things then walk it back seem exactly like changing their policy randomly.
They also refuse to advise their opinion to companies instead waiting for them to do things and then punishing them for rules they didn’t tell anyone about. Coinbase is suing them precisely to force them to make public their policies.

Is wikipedia wrong?

If “He’s not the SEC”, then who is?

Never touch chia fu… Gensler! He helps his hedge buddies and allow market crime!!! I hope the US can never touch chia!!!

All they can do is crime regulation to benefit 1%er and they change rules like they want.

Non sequitur.

My questions were simple.
Answer my questions.

How long, by your expert assessment, does the tenure of an average SEC head last?

You are looking for drama.

Reply with anything that you want. And reply with questions, and not with answers. Continue to refuse to answer my questions; my simple questions. Instead, sing and dance.

I will not feed your obsession for attention.
You will be talking to the hand.

Hi, slightly off-topic, but are the NYC rules applying to other exchanges based in USA?

Hah you think each state will allow another state’s rules to apply to an exchange viewable/usable by residents of their state? If you want to do business in USA you better have a different website and terms of use for each state

up until a couple days ago you could have used kucoin to trade chia now deposits are disabled. Im in ny too idk what to use now. I hate coinbase but the people running this shitshow should have gotten chia listed on coinbase by now. If they go much longer with no big exchanges listing it and no trading volume the few that do list it are gonna pull it which kucoin didnt confirm yet but i think thats whats happening because its only deposts disabled not withdrawals too which is what happens during updates/maint.

Its not NYC its NYS people in the city just always think the city is the whole state haha its not just them its the whole state that cant use any good exchanges. If you look at the states they can operate in almost every single one says legal in 49 states and ny is the one that still wont let them in.
