I don’t think he’s exactly a troll, rather an eccentric random thinker with expansive thoughts and readings, many likely chemically enhanced to provide extraterrestrial outlooks on emerging trends in the unknown and as yet fully unexplored scientific realms.
IOW, much ado about not much, but somehow vaguely entertaining

Jones stop harping about this bug, it is only cosmetic and has no real world impact on the blockchain.

Sure it seemed only cosmetic I’m not rich from it.
But there was a deffinent disturbance in the force. Whan my 100tb would jump to a pb instantly.
Logs no errors.

Just give it a test. Figure out a way to mount 1 hdd to 2 completely different computer… not hardware lvl. But software.
Each pc with its own harvester reporting to the 1 farmer. U will see the same results.
Proxmox, ubuntu lxc containers, and a bind mounts.
Someone with some street creds should give it a whirl. Someone people at chia would listen too.

i try that before.
plotting included compressing job. i try another compressing issue for plots files.
%2 or 3 small plot files is possible.
but if you are talking about real time compressing and uncompressing honestly i dont know but if we think about 512 and reading file size i guess real time compressing and uncompressing is possible.
example ;
when chain start try reading your plot files its try read only kb not megabyte so computer must find that part in plots and its uncompress that kb part after that sending to wallet and compress it again.
looking like simple but i am afiraid so i am not a developer. 
That is how I run while plotting when I forget the don’t add destination flag it happens to me. All that happens is you get duble signage points errors out the wazoo.
