Hi, in the official chia full node app, there is an option to set the amount of time between plot scans. Would someone be able to explain what this is for? For example, if I’m adding new plots to my farm, should I opt for a lower time to add the newly created plots and if I’m done plotting new plots, should I increase the time since there is no need to scan for new plots?

unless, you have a plotter that can do 1000TB/hour…leave it default…it is 3600s if I recall…1h…even the fastest plotter spits 60 plots/hour…not much to gain by changes 
Thanks. I was more thinking if I’m not adding plots at the moment then I should set it to very high, say once a day, since there are no new plots to look for.
I’m not plotting and set it so high that it never checks after it starts up.
