is it just that simple when i have say two computers on different locations and thus networks to import the seed phrase and let it run.
When I google the issue i got lots of hits but different approaches.
What is your advice

If I understand you correctly, you would run two full and independent installations, just sharing the same public/private key? I don’t see a problem with that. You could even transport plots between the two should you ever need.

Yes, @yae is correct, if the farmers are on completely different networks this is fine, there will be no interaction or conflict between the farmers.
Only when the farmers are on the same network can you have potential conflicts.
I am doing exactly this, I do all my plotting at work. I connect a HDD via USB and copy the plots. Take them home and copy them onto my farm box.
