'RuntimeError: badbit or failbit after reading size 104 at position 0' during pool plotting

I am using pool plotting for the first time, 1TB SSD plotter, 8TB HDD dest. My first 3 plots came in as valid. My second round of 3 plots never showed up in chia check plots, but once they reached 100% the first 3 plots came up as invalid. The second round also hung at 100% for over 12 hours. The error thrown is:
RuntimeError: badbit or failbit after reading size 104 at position 0

I had previously had issues with the valid plots being recognized by the pool. Is it possible to salvage these plots? If not, what do I need to do to completely remove them?

I wish I could remember specifics but I’m pretty sure it was as simple and stupid as shutting everything down, updating and rebooting.
