50Mbps is pretty slow. My servers have a bandwidth of 1Gbps. It’s definitely worth buying if somebody has a large bandwidth. BTW, my servers are located in north Europe.
My servers have 1Gbps bandwidth too - on the links between them - but my download speed on the Internet is between 50Mbps and 100Mbps, I could pay for what the ISP would call 1Gbps broadband, but I expect I’d be lucky to see 500Mbps. Even at true 1Gbps download speed - that is still 3 solid months to download, not to mention almost certainly running up against an ISPs fair-use policy.
This kind of post make me thinking about how much plots are on the cloud and should not survive for so long… Any thoughts guys??
