    • 4x Seagate OneStore SP-2584
    • 280x Harddrive 6 TB SAS 12 G 7.2k 3.5 Inch + 280 Caddys (suitable for the Seagate OneStore SP-2584)
    • 1x Dell PowerEdge R7515 (AMD Epyc 7232P, iDrac Enterprise, 32 GB RDIMM, RAID PERC H330, 2x500 GB SSD, 2xGb, 2x10Gb, 2x SAS HBA,…)

Everything is ready to picked up in Vienna, Austria
All original receipts are available.

wow!
16 euro per TB and hard drives only 6tb. thats really expensive.

How did you arrive with that number?

The way I read that post is that they are selling 1,680 TB worth of drives, plus 4x 84 bay enclosures, plus Dell PowerEdge - all that for 20k Euro. Even if you assume that those are just drives, 1,680 TB for 20k Euro is less than 12 Euro per TB. Unless I missed something

20.000 / (280 * 6) = 11.9.
But ‘only’ 6TB is a challenge indeed, those SAS drives aren’t designed for energy-efficiency so running 7-8 Watts idle, disks alone. With current (European) energy prices and Chia netspace/value …
It’s a really nice setup on the other hand and you could turn off central heating;-)
