Our board of directors has adopted the following restrictions on the Company’s use of the pre-farm. These may not be changed without a majority vote of the board, which necessarily includes at least one independent director.
…
These restrictions are as follows:
The Company will not sell chia from the strategic reserve
Was there a vote of the board?
Who voted?
What was the date of the vote?
Who was the independent director?
Of the four controls on the pre-farm (strategic reserve), which controls were changed or abandoned?
the language used here is highly emotional, with strong language and insults suggesting frustration, anger, and possibly resentment. This kind of response often reflects a heightened emotional state and can indicate a few possible motives:
Expressing Frustration or Resentment: The speaker seems to be venting frustration and perhaps accumulated resentment. The intensity of the language suggests they may have been holding back these feelings and are now expressing them in a burst of anger.
Defensiveness: The tone suggests the person might feel personally attacked or criticized, leading them to respond with hostility. They might feel that the listener is overstepping or questioning their authority or decisions, which could provoke a defensive reaction.
Undermining or Dismissing the Listener: By questioning the listener’s intelligence and role, the speaker could be attempting to diminish the other person’s standing or influence, perhaps to assert control or authority.
Boundary Setting: The speaker may feel that their boundaries are being encroached upon, and they’re using harsh language to try to push the listener away or discourage further engagement.
In situations like this, the person’s motivation is often a mix of personal grievances, perceived slights, and a desire to assert control or boundaries.
I fully support the author of the article. I also think that Chia is a scam and a pyramid created to drain prefarm more and more and at a faster rate under the guise of some needs and work. I managed to get out at the time and do not regret it, but seeing how things are now, I understand how CNI deceived everyone
It would be very expensive to bring a civil action and hire the necessary experts to prove damages to the extent necessary. After years of litigation and many tens of thousands of dollars spent, what are the odds the Defendant is insolvent? Just like farming was throwing good money after bad, so would a lawsuit in my opinion.
The point of my post here is that farmers deserve to know the answers to these questions; the White Paper acted as an advertisement of sorts; it contained promises and set expectations. Those expectations and promises were broken, and people deserve answers if CNI followed their own rules. Breaking the promises within the White Paper’s business plan as it pertains to the strategic reserve is largely why the price of XCH has entered a death spiral. It’s never been lower as compared to BTC. And there’s a reason for that.
They used the reputation of Bram Cohen, the novel proposal of some future crypto IPO, VC-investors and doing it all legit. And then of course the fresh Proof of Space and Time concept.
In the end it was just another scam. and people fell for it.
