When is the new plot format coming out? The ai internet seems to believe this: Chia 3.0 released in Summer 2025, enabling the new format, followed by a ~6-12 month transition period (late 2025 to late 2026) for farmers to replot, culminating in the hard fork activation around June 1, 2026 … but chia is on 2.5 afaik ---

the format is still being worked on, and from the discussions in discord dr nick and co are just finalising the finer details ---

bump Any news? I don’t discord. I see they’ve been busy on the 2.7.0 to 2.7.5 patches this year to keep it chugging along and get some of the code lined up. I’ve been out for a few years and looking to scoop up a few coins on the discount in case the gaming side of the ecosystem sticks the landing on a few projects - I’d rather wait until the new format to replot though.
