sounds like insane waste, but far better having millions HDDs running 24/7 but GPUs or ASICs :wink:

I remember one criticism of other proof-of-space cryptocoins that were using the disk space to store things – people were concerned that their disks might be used to store illegal content. At least with Chia you’re only storing a bunch of files full of math!
