I’m very disappointed in the 1.2.0 release. On July 7 Bram Coen wrote the following: “The new plot format has arrived. Upgrade to version 1.2.0 of the Chia Blockchain software to start plotting for pools now and be sure to set up a Plot NFT before doing so. Original plots will continue to be self-farmable but can not be safely used in pools.”
Unfortunately what he wrote doesn’t apply to me, since I don’t run windows. I’m a small farmer ~30 TB and so I was looking forward to pool plots so I could actually win some XCH. However, between the known 2 bugs linked below, not only do pool plots not work for me (I can plot but don’t earn any points due to an SSL issue), but my old plots aren’t recognized in CLI (chia farm summary). After wasting probably 8-10 hours trying to get pool plots to work, and then just trying to get my non-pool-compatible plots to work, I’ve concluded that 1.2.0 isn’t ready for use on Mac OS or Ubuntu, and have reverted back to 1.1.6.
