Best scenario - NVme, USB3 SSD + SATA SSD

Hi
Intel NUC, i7 6cores 12 threads, 32GB ram, Ubuntu system
What settings you would recommend if it has:

  • quick NVMe SSD 1TB
  • 1x SSD USB3.0 T5 Samsung - 1TB
  • 1x 1TB SATA 2.5" drive (for storing)
  • 1x 12TB USB 3.0 SATA drive for moving done plots on daily basis to copy to farmer

Question is:

  • how many parallel plots I could do and if there is any good idea to utilize this USB3.0 T5 drive as temp2? Which phase uses temp2 and if this should be done or quickest drive or on slower SSD drive to leave more space for next thread?

So far I had only this internal 1TB Nvme + 1x 2.5" SATA so I’ve been plotting 4 in parallel (to be sure that space of 1TB will be enough) but perhaps with new SSD drive I could go up to 6 parallel with nice idea of use of temp2?
