[CA] Considering selling my farm

Can I ask what’s your electricity rate? Bitcoin mining is currently not profitable at the existing retail electricity prices at most of the places.

Where I live the residential rate for electricity is about $0.115/kwh ($0.087 in USD) if you opt for the Tiered Rate and use more than 600kWh/month opposed to Time-of-Use but… I buy my power wholesale because, why not? so my rate is about half that. It was even less in 2021 but… inflation I guess

edit: I guess I should add that if you use less than 600kwh/month and opt for the Tiered Rate then the cost is $0.098/kwh ($0.074 USD). While profitability isn’t ideal right now, mining BTC does produce a positive net return

Mining Kaspa would be pretty profitable at your current electricity rate. I would suggest you should look into that too.
