Chia Faucet taking a long time?

I used the faucet.chia.net, and put my reward address in. That was about 3 hours ago. I went back and checked and it still is not in there. Any ideas? Should I of used my receive address instead of reward address? Shouldn’t both of them of worked?

Back when transactions started it took 6 hours to process. Chia confirms less than two dozen per block from what I’ve seen poking my SQLite copy of the blockchain. It may take even longer now especially considering sync problems (also affecting wallets).

Try the faucet I run: https://chia.togatech.org

We pay out within a few minutes (can take up to an hour), which is faster than the official faucet. You can use it to quickly verify your wallet works, and you can claim once per day. The reward amount is 10000 times the amount from https://faucet.chia.net

Why are you giving away Chia?

I am giving away Chia to spread hope and Chia to the community, especially for people stuck at 0 XCH balance and waiting for pooling. I’m also planning to run a pool at the same website as the faucet.

You can try the new faucet: https://chia2start.eu/

I tried two faucets yesterday and have nothing in my wallet. I used my “receive address”. I just tried the chia2start.eu one a moment ago.

@DjDemonD if you used the faucet I run at https://xchfaucet.togatech.org/ then there is a backlog of tens of thousands of payments (as transparently shown on the payment proofs page). If you are comfortable with sharing the first 10 letters of your wallet address, I can expedite your payment in the queue.
