Does affect the amount of buffer memory on the hard disk for farming

Hi, does it matter the amount of buffer memory on the hard disk for farming? If yes then how?

I haven’t seen any testing on this but I would imagine the answer is no. Farming is all reading from the plot disk in a somewhat random manner. The odds of the disk cache having the right data in cache seem very small, so it wouldn’t really help.
