with 38 plots, you will not see any rewards from most pools for a long time.
The income will be very low and pools often have a minimum payout of 0.1 XCH that will take you a long time to get.
As far as new pool not recognizing plots. Did you use the switch pool button to switch pools?
Could also just be a matter of restarting the app and pressing “refresh plots” in the plots tab.
