How many CPU cores or threads needed for C5 compressed plots

I want to run a virtual machine for farming in truenas. I have a 4 core Xeon (4GHz) CPU with 8 threads. My plan is to allocate 2 cores with total 4 threads for the VM guest and the same for the host.
Would this be enough for a farm <500TB with C5 plots? CPU farming only.

I was farming 400 TiB C4 (bladebit) on a i3-6100

So depending on what kind of Xeon it is, should be ok.
But best is just to test it. Make a single plot, put it on an ssd, and run the simulator on it
