How often does chia scan for new files

I have many plot dirs. However I notice new plots do not show up in chia farm summary at least not at first.

How long does it take? Does it use inotify? or is it a polling routine?

It’s 2 minutes and this can be changed in config.yml since version 1.1.3.

You can also force a re-scan via the GUI on the Plots tab, press the menu ⋮ button at upper right …

… and then press “Refresh Plots”.
