Just think soon that 100TB SSD thats $40k now will in the range of us poor suckers getting one for under $800.00
I would love to know how you get on with that USB drive. I tried an OS on USB stick previously which burned it out. I assume the same would be the case for database storage due to the write requirements. Love to know if anyone resolves that.
That also means reducing the number of chia nodes as the cost to host the database becomes more costly. Will take a lot of plots to cover the dedicated SSD/NVMe at this rate of growth.
Yeh, check out the video just posted by @chiameh. I remember seeing that video. Verify the drive capacity like shown and let us know if it passes with a legit 2TB. I highly doubt it.
