I just discovered that IBM’s z14 mainframe can be equipped with 40TB of main memory, and 190 cores, running at 5.2 gHz.
That would make for one heck of a plotter.

I absolutely would! And I would store the plots on ceramic cartridges if they ever get that tech ironed out
