Just wondering about these drives, is there any better performance to use an internal 3.5" to do a farming ?
It depends how it is connected. Internal SATA is 6gbps. USB can be up to 20gbps, thunderbolt up to 40gbps, etcetera.
The picture listed of the passport external looks like it would be a 2.5" laptop HDD. Actually good value per TB but all the ones I’ve ever owned have failed prematurely.
