Lost ~ 2 weeks farming couse port was close. How to make that visible in GUI?

Have a LAN card burned & made some setup changes, changed fix IP & forgot to return that back.
Port forwarding lost sense. So it looks like I lost 2 weeks of farming.
Question.
How to ask developers to put “Port is open” checker on “Farm Summary” screen?

Even if the port is closed it will still connect to some peers.

As to how, you either need to create a request on Github, or ask on Discord.

Thanks.
Yes. As I understand, if port is close, you will support the network, but cant get the reward.
Github request - will be a solution. Thanks again

Even if the port is closed you will still connect out to other peers, it will not stop you wining blocks, as long as you’re farmer is synced then you can win blocks.

I only open my port for a total of four hours a day, 1 hour at a time.

so… your port is close & you get the reward?
Ok… so l’m just have a bad luck.

Yes, I still win blocks.

If you’re port is closed you generally have less connected peers than if your port is open.

With a closed port your farmer has to find the peers, if the port is open other farmers can find you as well. Closing the port only stops inbound connections, but your farmer can still create outbound connections, and that then allows two way communication.

So long as you have connected peers, and are synced then you are connected, and if there are no other issues you will eventually win blocks.
