Would It be better to buy lots of cheap 4 core computers to plot are to buy one good computer to plot?

Rig 1 you will only be able to plot 1 at a time.
Rig 2 you will be able to plot 2 at a time.
In both your RAM is the limiting factor.
if i had the money i would buy a single powerful plotter and few of those cheap used micro/mini pc’s to farm
Your correct my 4gb of ram was to low to mine 1 plot in que ended up freezing the computer. Recommended ram size for each plot?
Which powerful rigs are you referring to like i7 10700 or ryzen 7 3700x?
i would love a threadripper 3990x but realistically a 3950x 32GB RAM and 2TB ssd would be a decent plotter imo

me? 13.165 TiB with 133 plots. not going to plot anymore for my farm, hope to join a pool then go crazy plotting on 5 x 8TB drives that i have kept aside
