I’m trying to build a plotting rig base on Intel Xeon E5-2680 with 8 cores and the motherboards I find are (old) ASUS Z9PA-D8 and Super Micro Computer X9DRL-3F for dual processor.
I’m worried whether or not a 980 PRO or similar will be compatible with it driver-wise. The adapters will fit but I’m aware that drivers for server motherboards can be a hassle. Does anyone have experience with the matter?
