Node stuck/extremely slow on recent blocks

It looks like my node sync started slowing down as it neared the most recent blocks.

It’s been more than 40 minutes on block 276506. At this rate, it will never sync.

I am using Debian Linux on what I think meets the min specs. CPU and network are not being taxed. RAM usage also looks okay.

Try this.

Under your full node - >connections, try to drop external nodes (ip) that are below your height.

I’ll try. I’m using CLI, so it is a bit different and I’m not sure how to drop connections.
