Plotter freezing because of RAM?

I am having an issue where my Ubuntu Server plotter just freezes after several days of running. Suddenly it becomes complete unresponsive, no logs. My suspicion on using xmp profile. I might have misunderstood how it works but I though when using Crucial 64GB KIT DDR4 3600 MHz CL16 that setting them to 3600 would be ok. It gives 5 - 10 % speed boost so not sure if its worth turn it off.

Oh definitely turn that memory boost stuff off. You want stability above all else, and I highly doubt a bit faster memory is gonna move the needle much on plotting speed?

I went down this route with my Ryzen 5950x machine and boy did I regret it. Now I have memory set to “auto” speed and I sleep very well at night, no issues, no crashes, no bluescreen…

(OTOH, If you think you have bad RAM, then definitely run memtest on your machine.)
