Many times when I was plotting with the GUI I got random errors, and then it got stuck on “Connecting to node window”, and it killed the plots. I think it should be separated, i.e you can start the plots from the GUI, but if the GUI crashes, the plots should continue
Is it possible to do it?
Plotting continues in the background regardless of GUI status.
If you are plotting and the GUI crashes or you close and reopen it, it wont show you the plotting progress but if you see the processes in task manager, you will see plotting processes are still working and once the plots are completed they will appear in your farm.
