RTX A4000 vs RTX 3060TI

Hi to all, I was wondering if anyone knows if RTX A4000 16 Gb is any better than RTX 3060TI for Chia farming, in my case Gigahorse compressed plots?

RTX A4000 is much better imho. Yes it costs more to buy but it is much more power efficient than the 3060ti and it has double the ram. (16gb v 8gb)

The 3060 is the middle ground as that has 12gb.

I prefer to use A4000’s personally.

Yes, I searched and realized that A4000 has more CUDA cores, so by just that logic, it should perform better. I do not see why the 16 GB of its memory will help or speed up things, but I do like the fact that it is a 1-slot GPU and its TDP is 140W. Now I juts have to find some cheap A4000 and buy it.

The A4000 is a good card for farming and plotting at the same time be it GH or NOSSD plots.

I can’t really see how you can compare them? The A4000 has more cuda cores and twice the memory of the 3060ti. A quick search on ebay also shows the cheapest A4000 being twice the price of the 3060ti. Are they really comparible GPUs?

You are right, but I did not mention that I had an offer for an A4000 with a similar price to 3060, so that was the moment I wanted to compare both of them. Now that I know more, I am more convinced that it is a good option to have an A4000 instead of a 3060/ti, especially if it can be bought for the same/similar price.
