Sync node via local network

I’m trying to sync a new node via local network (I have a full node running). Ubuntu, CLI. I can’t seem to get it to work though. I can ping each machine directly and I’ve tried this command on each machine:

chia show -a 192.168.0.75:8444
chia show -a 192.168.0.84:8444

Am I missing something?

I’m giving up on my main node comp as I can’t seem to keep it synced since Saturday. It is currently synced but drops constantly.

I’ve been attempting to do the same thing, It shows up from time to time but wont actively sync off it.

I came back after having a coffee and mines flying now. Literally made no changes. No idea what’s going on but it appears to be working.

If you have a node there locally that is already synced, just copy the database over and you will be good to go.

Ya I was a bit scared to do that, as I’m not sure what the problem is on the current main node (in case the db on there is partially corrupted or something)
