You can see overall developer activity here. CNI has quite a few public code repositories, which you can track on GitHub. If you’ve been away for a while, I recommend catching up with news on the official Discord (this forum is quite new, so you won’t find any news that are not extremely recent) - the first thing I’d read about is Permuto Capital.
