NoSSD Chia Pool update! GPU mining, 50.3GiB plots, >200% reward, new CPU & GPU plotters

It matters but the difference is just a few seconds.
I tested for example oc-ing from ddr4 2666 to 3200 and got like 3-5 seconds improvement per plot.

NoSSD will do remote compute using standard NFS file shares.
Should also work via SAMBA shares but I’ve not actively tried that, as I’m all LINUX with no reason to bother with SAMBA.
This appears to have been true for as long as NoSSD has existed.

“Remote Compute” is NOT an issue.

Got this error repeatedly, how to fix it?

this is a you problem, something broke on the filesystem / kernel level.

Check dmesg or remount the drives.

Each plot uses 2MB of data per day over nfs. This is too much network load as I have 50k plots. Most consumer internet plans top out at 1-5TB before you run out of internet. You are wrong.

im using xfs file system, or should i switch to ext4 ?

no, have you checked dmesg?

if its corrupted (unlikely) you can use xfs repair tools.
You need to check dmesg.

You could try rebooting.
I see this sort of an error when replotting and the old plot goes away.
Reboot NoSSD fixes it in that case.

Did you not have coffee yet this morning??

I stayed away from the developments. I have 180 TB OG land, I am thinking of deleting them and joining nossd. What do you think about that?

Get a 1080 or 1070 for $100ish. Or 1650 if you have a weak power computer. Do nossd. It is very easy. Once you start you will not look back.

My system is gigabyte rtx 2080 32gb ddr4 3600 ryzen 3700x 2x samsung 980 pro 1gb win10. What do you recommend for this system?

You can do C15 easily with your 2080. The best way I will suggest is do plotting first. Make two 980 to be raid 0 under windows. Plot on the RAID 0. Use Mr Ronski’s “window plot mover” to distribute the plots to your hard drives. Once plotting is done, start farming. You will have twice as many plots.

Thank you for your interest. Which pool do you recommend?

No pool (or nossd pool only).
Automatic connect.
No need all those keys.
Only thing you need is your payment address.

non ssd looks good, how can I reach the payment address? And to receive the non-ssd payment, I should install the chia official client. Do I need to synchronize it?

Somewhere in the CHIA client you see the wallet address. Copy the address.

Once nossd runs, it deposit the reward to your address after accumulating some.

Just open CHIA client once a while to see whether the payment comes.

For me I have CHIA client open all the time, with small portion of CHIA plots to make it running and synching.

thank you very much i will try to do it now

Even a 1060 would be enough to farm 180TB using NoSSD at C15 - though it would be marginal.
