hi, i download the farmer and farming c7 plots. but cpu 100% usage and cause the synced stop , flexpool goes offline. after i remove compress plots everything works fine and online.
in bladebit simulate said my cpu can hold 293 TB but when i put 12 TB will cause above problems
is there something i need to do in setting (modifly some files) or i need to get gpu to work

I think you get it fixed using GPU.
C7 compression is not for CPU.
this version of ChiaSetup-1.7.1rc3-dev47-c2860ee0.exe is only for AMD CPU based computers, cannot run on Intel CPU based computers, do you have Intel compiled version?
Tested machine setting, Intel Xeon E5-2670V2 + 128GB Ram + Win 10 or Win 11 or Win Server 2019 or Win Server 2022.
Basically, cannot do farming without a working ChiaSetup app on Intel based CPUs.
Amdx64 is just x64, intel also use it.
I use that chia version with i3-6100
I have about 20 servers with E5-2670V2, and after installation of ChiaSetup-1.7.1rc3-dev47-c2860ee0.exe, the Chia app will stop on “loading keypairs”. On the Windows event will show an error that chia.exe or deamon.exe not valid Windows application etc. I tried on different machine for so many times, and none is working. Only on AMD CPU machines the app runs without any problem. However, any other version of ChiaSetup from https://downloads.chia.net/dev/ can run on E5-2670V2 without any problem, no Windows event errors whatsoever. Could you look into that?
Hello all. I am new to this forum and new to chia. I have a quick question. I am using bladebit cuda on windows. Is it normal to get message. Command buffer full. I have 256g of ram rtx 3060ti. Its taking like 50hrs to plot 2 14tb drives. No compression. It says a plot takes 10.8 mins. Which is odd. Because the first drives i did it only took 7 minutes to plot. Any help would be appreciated.
I never tried it in Windows.
try to be sure if u are using correct nvidia driver ( cuda 12.1)

I have 28 core (e52680 v4) system, I was running plot check on c7 compressed folders, proof times are beyond 15 seconds, hitting 30 sometimes.
What is going on here? I tested the plot with bladebit simulate. Simulation told that, I can at least do half petabyte.
Someone was telling that he is using CPU farmer so I thought if I have lots of cores, I can start farming compressed folders with cpu until gpu farming available.

I honestly expected 128GB RAM gpu plotting to come earlier…this is a bit frustrating given Gigahorse is in place for sooo long by now

Yes it is frustrating CNI is behind, my theory is that MadMax forced their reaction by releasing Gigahorse well knowing they had nothing in hand to respond.
