Hello Chia community! :waving_hand: I’m Oleg, founder of Chia Latitude. Thanks to everyone at the Toronto Meetup 2025 for the early feedback - excited to share this with the wider community.

From bytes to biomass. Chia Latitude turns netspace into living Paulownia forests in Costa Rica. Each dynamic NFT (dNFT) maps to one real tree with GPS and quarterly MRV updates - so your farming footprint becomes audited CO₂ removal today and timber value tomorrow.

Why this matters

  • Verifiable: GPS + imagery + annual audits

  • Simple: 1 dNFT = 1 tree

  • Aligned with Chia: measure the footprint, grow the forest

How it works

  • We’re launching a Chia pool that allocates a slice of rewards to plant and maintain trees.

  • A public dashboard will show netspace → energy → CO₂ → trees.

  • Site: Puntarenas, Costa Rica (degraded pastureland; ideal growth conditions).

Roadmap

  • 2025–2026: partners, permits, land; pool + dNFT framework

  • Q4 2026: ~10,000-tree pilot

  • 2027+: scale, IoT/satellite MRV; first harvests when cohorts mature
